Bart De Waele is one of the people I follow on Twitter. He is about to write his 3.000st post on the platform and was wondering what to write…He asked his followers for help, he really didn’t know what to do…Should it be a fantastic post no one will ever forget or just a trivial one? Sorrows, sorrows, 😉

Bu the sorrow is over, Bart will give his 3.000st tweet (a post on Twitter) to the highest bidder. In other words, he put his offer on Ebay. Any company or person can bid until the 16th of December. And what does the bidder get then? Well, Bart has more than 250 followers on Twitter and they are not the least. It is in other words quite a chance for innovating companies, commercial guys who want to experiment,…to reach a very creative-technical-commercial-digital-innovative-and-I-don’t-know-what-else ‘audience’.

I wonder whether anyone else somewhere else had an idea like that? At any case, I hope there will be a bid soon.  And I’m quite curious on the outcome and the responses.

By the way, the highest bid will go to the charity project Music For Life.

UPDATE: 5 minutes after publishing this entry, the first bid was a fact. Let the game begin 🙂

About a month ago I stumbled upon a very interesting, positive and above all creative guy, Cyriel. He is part of the team of New Shoes Today. On their website, those people describe themselves as such:

New shoes today is a growing number of soulmates in business who give support to people and organisations on their road to creation, innovation and change. Together with clients we take on 21st century challenges. Our values:
open – drive – unity – fun – care – today.

I really like the way they think, what they do and especially how they do it. A few examples:

-New Shoes Today helped the Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands generate 310.000 euro savings. In a very easy way 🙂

-Recently, they launched the book ‘Creativity Today’. Readers can submit their photos or videos online (on this page), in which they show how creative they are with the book. Quite funny!

-On the 15th of November New Shoes Today organises its first conference tilt or ‘total innovation leadership today’.  Quite interesting if you ask me, especially since the event has a totally different approach than most other conferences. Inspiring each other, co-creating and experimenting are central. Therefore, interaction with other people is crucial. I think lots of people will come home (or go to work ;-)) with plenty of new ideas 🙂

And no, this is not a commercial. I find it very hard sometimes to find creative people, who can for instance lead a truly inspiring brainstorm. On the website of New Shoes Today, I suddenly came across a whole team of creatives, great 🙂 So I just want to share it with you!
